Privacy Policy

This policy describes how CoinRunner ("the App"), operated by Fahreddin Hepdonduran ("we", "us"), collects and uses information. CoinRunner is a movement game: the coins in the App are virtual, have no monetary value and cannot be purchased or redeemed.

Data we collect

• Motion & fitness data. With your permission, the App reads step count, estimated distance and activity type (walking or running) from your device's motion sensors while a session is active. Summaries of completed sessions (distance, steps, duration and coins earned) are stored on our servers.
• Account identifiers. A randomly generated device identifier, and — if you use Sign in with Apple — the stable identifier Apple provides together with the name you choose to share. We do not request or receive your email address.
• Leaderboard data. Your display name and coin balances are visible to other users on the in-app leaderboard.

What we do not collect

• No location data (GPS is never accessed).
• No contacts, photos, messages or browsing history.
• No advertising identifiers; the App contains no ads and no trackers.
• No payment information; the App has no purchases.

How we use data

Data is used solely to run the App: converting movement into coins, keeping your wallet in sync across sessions, and ranking players on the leaderboard. We do not sell data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for advertising or tracking.

Where data lives

Session summaries and wallets are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Neon) and served through Vercel, with infrastructure located in the United States. Raw sensor readings never leave your device — only per-session summaries are uploaded.

Data retention & deletion

Data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email fahreddinhepdonduran@gmail.com from the device or Apple ID in question and we will remove it within 30 days.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
